Disabled the mic(s) by right-clicking on them and disabling them; even tho they are disabled, i was able to see in the sound setting that the mic bar has started moving. and fortnite mic works again. re-enabled the mic(s) and it stayed working even thru reboots. i cycled thru the mics options i had in fortnite. all of them worked.. If your pc doesnt detect the headset/mic, fortnite sure the hell won't either! you need to figure out if you need drivers or something to run that headset on your pc. this has absolutely nothing to do with fortnite!.
