I started getting this android is starting....optimizing apps 1 of 1. after reading this thread, i found the problem to be zedge. i've used this app for about 6 years, then a recent forced update started causing the error, making my phone take about 15 minutes to boot. i uninstalled zedge and got rid of the problem.. Fixed android is starting optimizing app 1 of 1. this feature is not available right now. please try again later.. Android is starting... optimizing app 1 of 1. - bad app installation - android system software update is not optimized apps properly. full load your phone. turn off, disconnect from ac. start and wait for the optimization process to come to an end. check settings>battery for app using most battery. deinstall that and reboot..
